Live: King Charles and Queen Camilla visit Canberra on Australia tour

King Charles and Queen Camilla flew to Australia’s capital Canberra on Monday, 21 October where crowds gathered for their first visit to the city in almost a decade. King and Queen arrived in Sydney on Friday evening for their six-day visit to the Commonwealth nation to celebrate its people, culture and heritage. Sydney Opera House was lit up with a rolling four-minute projection of images of Charles and Camilla to mark the monarch’s first visit to Australia as King. The royal couple were greeted at the airport by Australia’s Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Australia’s Governor-General Sam Mostyn and the Premier of New South Wales state Chris Minns.
