PLATON SILAEV on social media: Countertenor Platon Silaev was born in St. Petersburg in 2002. Education: • Ohtinsky Center of Aesthetic Education, specializing in “Vocalist.“ • International Academy of Music Elena Obraztsova, specializing in “Vocalist.“ • Since 2021, he has been studying at the “Art of Opera Singing“ department of the N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg Conservatory. • At the same time, he is studying countertenor vocal at the Youth Studio of the Vasilievsky Island Youth House in St. Petersburg. He regularly performs at various venues in the city and participates in opera productions from the conservatory, such as “La Traviata,“ “The Queen of Spades,“ “Eugene Onegin,“ and “La Bohème.“ At the age of 13, in 2015, he participated in the First Channel program “Poet in Russia - More Than a Poet“ with poet Yevgeny Yevtushenko. Awards: 2017 - 1st place at the “Talent of St. Petersburg Assemblies of Arts“ competition. 2017 - 2nd place in the “Starry Rhapsody“ competition. 2017 - Participation in the project “Music Children Theater.“ 2018 - Laureate of the 1st degree in the nomination “Academic Vocal“ at the “Crystal Magnolia“ festival in St. Petersburg. 2018 - Winner of the city competition of vocal creativity “Solo“ at GBOU SOSh №188. 2019 - Laureate of the 2nd degree in the nomination “Solo Performance. Academic Singing“ at the Open All-Russian Competition-Forum of Musical Creativity “Clarinet XXI Century.“ 2023 - Second degree winner of the “Voice of Youth“ competition in St. Petersburg. Platon Silaev is constantly in creative search and collaborates with many professional teachers and artists.
