Flintlock Combined Nation Exercise in Thies, Senegal

Flintlock Combined Nation Exercise. Soldiers and sailors from the Nigerian Army and Navy, Moroccan soldiers, and Cameroonian soldiers participate in a simulated raid under the instruction of United Kingdom Soldiers as part of FLINTLOCK in Thies, Senegal. The exercise was event of the training conducted between the United Kingdom and the three African partner-nations. Flintlock is an annual, integrated military and law enforcement exercise that has strengthened key partner-nation forces throughout North and West Africa since 2005. Flintlock is U.S. Africa Command’s premier and largest annual Special Operations Forces exercise.
