On her way to school, young Hope gets sexually abused by a male stranger. She undergoes a major surgery, but ends up with wounds that cannot be healed for life. Hope’s family falls in utter despair. From the trauma of that day, Hope even refuses her father, ‘Dong-hoon’. No longer able to be with Hope, Dong-hoon hides under the costume of his daughter’s favorite cartoon character and becomes her guardian angel at her side. Thanks to the love of those around her and her guardian angel, Hope gradually becomes brighter. At the sight of Hope slowly finding stability and laughter, her family also starts to change and try to find hope in the midst of despair.
