Speedy Demonstration of a Pastel Dog Portrait (German Shepherd) Part I

This is a commissioned pastel portrait of a German Shepherd on velour paper. I work from a couple of photographs and the more detailed the photo, the better result I can give you in a portrait. I ship portraits internationally and paint a variety of animals. This portrait took about 9-10 hours to actually complete not including the sketch. Part II will show the completion of the portrait.
