Beneath the Beam

Shining a light over the island of Ireland for more than 100 years, St John’s Point Lighthouse dazzles in this stunning video by Yvonne Gordon and Rupert Shanks. St John’s Point Lighthouse was built in 1844, and is the tallest onshore lighthouse on the island of Ireland at 40m. You can now stay in one of the two lightkeeper’s cottages nearby, and live the life of a lightkeeper for the weekend!
