Syria: Russian fighter jets continue Syria mission

Russian fighter pilots continued their mission against Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) forces in Syria on Wednesday, as they were deployed from the Hmeymim base near Latakia. The fighter jets at the base, the Su-24, Su-25 and Su-27 among them, are now being supported by the Russian navy who have begun launching strikes from the Caspian Sea.
