1993 March 29: Audrey Hepburn’s Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award: 1993 Oscars

The Academy’s Board of Governors voted to confer this award on January 12, 1993. Ms. Hepburn passed away on January 20th, and the award was accepted on her behalf by her son, Sean Hepburn Ferrer. Presented by Gregory Peck at the 65th Annual Academy Awards on march 29.®.
