Contest of Conference Interpreters COSINES Pi V: rules and dates

5th international contest of conference interpreters COSINES Pi V COSINES Pi V, Russia’s main event for interpreter outreach and development started on June 24. The contest will last for 7 months and culminate in the Finals on Student’s Day on January 25, 2022. Traditionally, the final stage of COSINES Pi will be held at the Faculty of Economics of the Lomonosov Moscow State University, with the participation of deans and representatives of embassies and international organisations. The final will last 4 days and will be broadcast live on the contest’s platform . The contest’s platform was developed with the specific purpose of symbolically bringing together both beginners and experienced interpreters as part of a single community. The platform was designed so as to provide an organic workspace for interpreters.
