The new Audi A1 allstreet brings a fresh, rugged look to the stylish A1 lineup. Based on the A1 Sportback, the allstreet gets a lifted suspension raising ground clearance by 35mm for light off-roading ability. Its tall stance combines with aggressive octagonal grille styling inspired by Audi’s Q models to give the subcompact hatchback a tough new attitude. Under the hood, engine options include a 95 horsepower turbo three-cylinder and a 148 horsepower turbo four. Front-wheel drive and either a six-speed manual or seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch automatic transmission get the power down. Audi drive select with auto, dynamic, efficiency, and individual drive modes tweaks throttle response and transmission shifting characteristics. An available dynamic package adds adjustable dampers, allowing customers to tailor the ride and handling. The A1 allstreet’s interior can be customized with four different trim levels. Sport seats, ambient lighting, and contrast stitching add flair. The cabin feels upscale and high-tech with standard features like Audi’s Virtual Cockpit digital instrument cluster. The latest MMI touch interface is found on higher trim levels, bringing natural voice control and navigation with intelligent suggestions based on previous drives. Audi connects the A1 allstreet to the digital world through Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and an integrated Wi-Fi hotspot. Convenience features include wireless phone charging, remote lock/unlock via a smartphone app, and optional park assist that can automatically steer the car into parallel or perpendicular parking spaces. Safety takes a front seat with standard pre sense city collision mitigation that can automatically brake to avoid impacts under 30mph. Available adaptive cruise control maintains a set distance to the car in front, taking stress out of highway driving. Pricing for the 2024 A1 allstreet starts around $25,000 when it goes on sale in Europe this spring. The new model brings rugged flair to Audi’s most affordable offering.
