After an incredible wait and some incredible hype – reviews out of Venice are breathlessly calling it the sci-fi event of the decade – Denis Villeneuve’s adaptation of Frank Herbert’s epic novel ‘Dune’ arrives in theaters and on HBO Max this October. The story of Paul Atreidis (Timothée Chalamet), whose noble house is called upon to rule the desert planet of Arrakis, and his confrontations with political enemies, the mysterious Fremen, and – yes – some huge sandworms, is considered by many to be the template for some of the most influential science-fiction works of the last 60 years.
