Heart of Stone // Lion King AU

Hello everyone and welcome! :D I’m so proud of how this turned out, so I’m really happy to share it with you. The song “Heart of stone“ is based on the Musical “Six“ which focuses on the six wives of Henry the eighth. This is the song is based around Jane Seymour, Henry’s third wife. In the musical she is portrayed in a blue dress and blue lights. So thr Text had to be blue. So with this background let’s explain the story. But before we do that, I’ll just let you know the names of these characters: Kiara/ Sarabi: _Tatu_ (Meaning “Three“ in Suaheli) Simba (without blue eyes)/ Mufasa: _Nane_ (Meaning “Eight“ in Suaheli) Simba with blue eyes: _Moyo_ (Meaning “Heart“ in Suaheli) So now let’s get into the story: Nane is the soon to be king of the pridelands. He is a rather kind prince, but also can be very short tempered. One night he is watched by Tatu, a lioness from his pride. They both spend time together and fall deeply in love. Especially the young lioness, who promises that, no matter how cruel he’d act to her, she’d stay with him. They both get crowned as new King and Queen of the Pridelands. Tatu even gives him a male heir and Nane is very pleased with his wive. But the queen is very well aware that “without her so, his love would dissapear“, as their love grows more and more one sided. Not long after her giving birth, Tatu falls ill and has to leave her son behind. Her son, Moyo, now being a young and strong prince gets to learn all about the pridelands, the great king of the pasts and gets to spend a lot of time with his father. But just as Tatu feared, Nane doesn’t take long to get a new wive for himself. This new queen gives birth to a female cub and Moyo starts to realize that he isn’t much part of this family anymore. Moyo grows into an adult, but still doesn’t really now who he is. He seeks guidence from an old family friend and finally gets to see his mother, who let’s him know, that he will never be alone and that she will always be part of him. PUUUUH wasn’t that quite a long paragraph :’D I hope I was able to explain the story well and that it wasn’t too confusing with these new names. I just prefer to give these AU (Alternative Universe) characters new names and since the original names were based on the Suaheli words, I figured why not stick to that?
