Алия Нурмухамбетовна Молдагулова родилась 15 июня 1925г. В ауле Булак Хобдинского района Актюбинской области. После смерти матери воспитывалась в семье родного дяди Абубакира Молдагулова. Детские и школьные годы Алия провела в Аулие-Ата, Москве, Ленинграде. Это было связанно с учебой дяди Абубакира в Московской (Ленинградской) Военно-Транспортной Академии. В 1938 г. с согласия Алии дядя определяет ее временно в школу-интернат г.Ленинграда. Здесь Алия встретила войну. В тяжелый блокадный 1942г. воспитанники интерната, среди них и Алия, эвакуируются в Ярославскую область село Вятское. Закончив 7 классов Вятской СШ, Алия поступает в Рыбинский авиационный техникум. 18 декабря 1942 г. вместе с другими девушками – добровольцами Алия была направлена на учебу в женскую снайперскую школу. В июле 1943г., закончив снайперскую школу, Алия была отправлена на Северо-Западный фронт в 4 батальон 54-ой стрелковой дивизии. С конца 1943 по 1944гг. Алия участвовала в боях за освобождение ряда городов и деревень Псковской области. 14 января 1944г. во время штурма села Казачиха Алия погибла, совершив бессмертный подвиг. Указом Президиума Верховного Совета СССР от 4 июня 1944г. отважному снайперу Алие Молдагуловой было посмертно присвоено звание Героя Советского Союза. Боевая подруга, снайперская пара Алии - Надежда Абрамовна Матвеева воспоминала : «Нас с Лией определили в один взвод четвертого батальона. Мы, снайперы, ходили на задания в одной паре. У нас были заранее подготовленные позиции. Там засиживались до тех пор, пока не брали на мушку фрицев и не пускали их в расход. Тогда на нас обрушивались вражеские сняряды и мины. Нам часто приходилось воевать и в общем строю. И здесь я не раз удивлялась смелости Лии. Она всегда рвалась вперед, нередко совершенно забывая, что она снайпер и ей следует соблюдать элементарную осторожность. Она не только била фашистов. Она выносила с поля боя раненых и оказывала им первую помощь. Алия в такие минуты проявляла исключительное бесстрашие...». Aliya Nurmuhambetovna Moldagulova was born on June 15, 1925. Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of June 4, 1944. the brave sniper Alie Moldagulova was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union. A friend of war, a sniper pair of Aliya - Nadezhda Abramovna Matveeva remembered: “We were identified with Leah in one platoon of the fourth battalion. We, snipers, went for assignments in one pair. We had pre-prepared positions. They sat up until they took the Fritz for a fly and did not let them into the expense. Then we were attacked by enemy rifles and mines. We often had to fight in the general ranks. And here I have often been amazed at Leah’s courage. She always tore forward, often completely forgetting that she was a sniper and she should be very careful. She not only beat the fascists. She carried the wounded from the battlefield and provided them with first aid. Alia at such moments showed exceptional fearlessness ... “.
