This is another favorite scene of mine from the Golden Globe Award winning documentary “Elvis on Tour“ (1972) by Pierre Adidge and Robert Abel. Elvis is super relaxed and in excellent mood when on his arrival in Roanoke, Virginia, on April 11th, 1972, he is greeted by Mayor Roy Webber (“You goin’ to play ’I ain’t nothin’ but a Hound Dog’??“) on his plane.
