A Forest Mighty Black - High Hopes Pt. II (Remixed by Bernd Kunz)

#CompostClassics buy here: Release date: 1 March 1997 .: CPT 029-1/-3 Format: 12“ / Digital Remixed by: Bernd Kunz Here are the powerful, strange weird and flying remixes for AFMB by three respected DJs/artists. The first remix was made by Patrick Pulsinger & Erdem Tunakan, and can be described as a mixture between Jazz, Electro and Rock (JR’78), where the new Black Forest Jazz (remind: MPS) meets the blissful sharp electro of Cheap Records. The second Remix is undeniably the work of Peshay & Flytronix, together they have created a deep rolling and til the end flying interpretation of AFMB’s original. It even reached a no. 2 position on one of LTJ Bukem’s favourite-tracks-charts!! Last but not least from Freiburg in the Black Forest (were the cuckoo watch and AFMB originally came from) comes this beautiful more uptempo AFMB-remix of „High Hopes“. Since the last AFMB-release Bernd Kunz & Rainer Trüby have already finished two batucada-dancefloor-remixes for the Friends From Rio-project on Far Out Recordings as well as for Marina, a very nice mellow jazz-come-indie-pop-band from Scotland. Of course, A Forest Mighty Black are working on their first album, which will be released in April or May ‘97’. (1997) Compost Records:
