Public Lecture: The Exploration of Pluto

Dr. Alan Stern, principal investigator for the New Horizons mission, will present a public lecture entitled “The Exploration of Pluto.” Topics to be covered are the history of the mission, the science behind it, the capabilities of the instrument payload, the encounter with planet Pluto, and the major scientific discoveries made to date.
