Действие игры Hogwarts Legacy происходит в конце XIX века и повествует о студентах Хогвартса. The player is allowed to choose his house at Hogwarts and attend classes at the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, as well as explore an open world consisting of locations such as the Forbidden Forest and Hogsmeade Village. In the game, the character learns to cast various magic spells, brew potions, tame magical animals and master other combat abilities. The moral system plays an important role in the game. Players can also customize their character’s voice, body type, and whether they are a witch or wizard. Professor Eleazar Fig, who is a new character for the Harry Potter franchise, acts as a mentor for the main character. Other non-player characters also making their first appearances in the universe include Hogwarts students Amit Thakkar (Asif Ali), Everett Clopton (Luke Youngblood), as well as Professors Onay (Candas Kyne) and Shah (Som Kapila) and Matilda Weasley (Leslie Nicol). Among the “book” heroes there is Phineas Black (Simon Pegg). During the passage, the player will be able to make friends with fellow students Natsai Onai, Poppy Sweeting and Sebastian Sallow.
