QM In Dry Dock Aka Queen Mary In Dry Dock (1960)

Nice L/S of the Queen Mary liner coming into dock at Southampton for her twice yearly overhaul; three men in coats and flat caps stand on the deck of a boat moving out in the foreground; M/Ss of tugs going out to meet QM, then of tugs alongside the QM, drawing her closer to the dock. M/Ss of QM being guided into the King George dry dock with hawsers extended to dock. C/Us of the side of the ship as we see a flag flying and an officer giving instructions; M/Ss of several men hooking a hawser over a bollard on the dock; some men are seen getting into smaller boats with cleaning equipment and baling out water.
