Audio recorder, mixed and mastered by Piero Villa and Boris Savoldelli at “The Black Room“, Rumore Bianco, Esine (BS) Italy THE STRANGE CASE OF “THE MISS KISS“ Chicago, December 1932 (API) It seems everybody has been going crazy over a new song titled “The Miss Kiss.“ Al Capone loves the song so much he wants to hear it every time he visits his nightclub. The new hit song was written by Boris Savoldelli, a multiform musician and leader of his Voice Orchestra. Some observers see a relation between Boris, the members of the Voice Orchestra and Al Capone himself. One local music critic mused, “This is either an incredible example of identical multiple-childbirth, the first successful example of human cloning, or someone who wants to emulate Leonard Zelig?“ TECHNICAL CURIOSITY Savodelli records his own compositions using only his voice, multi-tracked in the recording studio. Then, young Italian film director and author Alessandro Romele shoots a polymorphic Boris playing the role of Al Capone and members of the Voice Orchestra. Other characters also occupy the video, which has within it elements of the 1930s filmmaking style.
