Red Bull King of the Rock World Finals 2012

Amidst the crumbling walls and the eerily lit cell house, 64 one-on-one basketball players battled in bone-chilling conditions to prove they were worthy of being deemed King of the Rock. In the end, Hugh “Baby Shaq“ Jones from Washington D.C. was the last man standing as the undisputed champion. Unlike last year’s competition, where the international players were mostly eliminated in the first round, this year’s expanded crop showed a greater skill set and will. Nine international players made it out of the first round, and three players advanced to the round of 16. The talk of the competition proved to be Lukas Kraus from the Czech Republic.
