Safety First No 2 (1934)

Note: Location of the events are unknown. Full titles read: “SAFETY FIRST - And all the time. With some remarks by Sir Malcolm Campbell the world famous Racing Motorist. (Arranged in co-operation with the Ministry of Transport).“ L/S’s and M/S’s of Sir Malcolm Campbell sitting in a motor racing car, he is watched by crowds of people. Several shots of Campbell on a race track and also footage of one of his land speed record attempts. Campbell then provides the commentary and gives advice to Britain’s road users with examples of the sort of driving that should be avoided. Some of the driving examples seen include driver that do not stop at cross-roads, a car that over takes on a bridge and nearly collides with a car coming the other way. He advises that people should take care driving down hill. M/S of the ’thoughtless’ driver who parks their car on a sharp bend climbs out as another car comes around the corner.
