Greater Hove celebrations - famous seaside town celebrates expansion with gay carnival “ Hove, Sussex M/S from a high angle of a carnival procession of floats, followed by people on horseback depicting various people from history, including cowboys and Indians. A float made up as an aeroplane makes its way along rain soaked roads. Crowds line the route. The camera pans across a line of people, showing children and adults in various costumes. C/U of two young girls dressed as nurses, one waves. A child is dressed up as a South Sea Islander with a flower garland. They smile at the camera. The adults are in various garb, one has a sign ’Hove’s Greatest Cabbage’, an old man is dressed like Neptune, with two beauties on either side of him, laughing. It looks windy.
