How I built from scratch my micro RC SG-38 and made it a powered glider. An all-balsa RC plane that is easy to build and fly. A very good RC trainer plane because of its slow-fly characteristics.
The real Schneider DFS 108-14 SG-38 Schulgleiter (German for “school glider“) is a German high-wing, cable-braced, single-seat glider that was designed by Schneider, Rehberg, and Hofmann at Edmund Schneider’s factory at Grunau in 1938.
The main material of my Micro RC SG-38 is balsa. In fact, this is my first scratch-build using this material. Most of my micro planes use foam as the main material.
