THIRUNAGESWARAM - The Lord Rahu’s Temple (The snake Planet) Thirunageswaram is located at the southern bank of the river Kaveri 7 km from Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu, India. A village in the outskirts of Kumbakonam. Sri Naganatha Swamy Temple is located in the middle of Thirunageswaram dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is also known as Lord Rahu Sthalam (The Snake Planet). This Temple is one of the nine Navagraha sthalas. This temple was built by Aditya Chola during 10th century A.D. The presiding deity is Lord Shiva
