How to Build The Diamondback Slentre Braidiator Coil

At first glance it may look like a mohawk alien coil or an enigma alien coil even, but it’s not at all. This is in fact the Diamondback Slentre Braidiator, a feat all its own. This is a build that you make by hand - literally - with your own bare hands. Tho you can use gloves if you prefer not to hurt your hands in the process - I prefer not to wear them (better dexterity). Prep for this build involves creating 5 loops of 36 guage wire and two 26 guage cores. From there the process is very much like creating a vertebraid coil except that you are looping your operator finger’s loop over the inside core before pulling the braid tight. It’s more challenging than it sounds, tho. In this video I’ll go over some tips and tricks that I discovered helped make this braid a lot easier for me and solved a lot of the difficulties I encountered along the way.
