This stunning performance is the final part of a special gala concert headlined by Nigel Kennedy which featured special guest performers on top of his own band and orchestra; a few names among them that are of special interest to rock fans include French virtuoso violinist Jean-Luc Ponty who was a member in the second incarnation of Mahavishnu Orchestra between 1974-76, Doug Boyle who was in Robert Plant’s band between 1987-92, and Lizzie Ball who toured with Jeff Beck between 2013-14.
