Welcome to this belly dance workout in the folkloric hagala style! I will be teaching you how to do the hagala, also known as the 3/4 shimmy . We will be traveling with this new belly dance hagala step. The hagala is done in Egypt but is said to be a style from Libya. It can also be know as the clapping dance! or ’Kaf’ dance. Its a wonderful all round workout for your legs hips and core. Nor to mention a lot of obliques with those up ward hips!
