SONG OF SUMMER SOLSTICE | Kulning & Nyckelharpa

Here is a little song that came to me during the night of summer solstice. A little kulning (ancient swedish herdingcall) together with my very first try on the beautiful ancient instrument Nyckelharpa, that i just got. I am totally new to it, so the tones might be a little bit shaky and shy, but I so much look forward to learn to play it so that I can use it more for my music. I think that the combination of kulning and nyckelharpa is such a perfect match. Sounds from the past. This month might be the most magical time of the year, with the dancing mist and the midnight sun. It’s something very special in the air, so this is a little tribute to June and the summer solstice.
