Les Paul Custom 70th Anniversary Black Beauty into EVH 5150 III 50 W Stealth

A demo of my recently acquired Les Paul Custom 70th Anniversary Black Beauty, straight out of the box, into the EVH 5150 III 50 W Stealth. There’s a lot of layering when the distorted guitars kick in, but no EQ, limiting or compression were used. Reverbs courtesy of the Strymon Big Sky and Line 6 Helix. All delay sounds created with the Strymon Volante. Lower octave effect created with Neural DSP Archetype: Gojira. Neural DSP cab sims were used on the heavy sounds and OwnHammer impulse responses on the clean sounds. Loadbox: Koch LB120-II. Overall, it’s a very nice sounding guitar which plays well. The factory set up is decent, but I think the intonation could do with some tweaking. I’d also like to put some .011 gauge strings on it to replace the factory .010 strings and perhaps lower the pickup height.
