Coming from Team17 and RocketBrush Studio, The Unliving is a special kind of real-time strategy game that injects elements of dark fantasy into the mold of a roguelike. Playing as a necromancer, you’ll use your unholy powers to raise the dead and command an army against mortals protecting small towns and vast kingdoms. While you’ll start out battling peasants with pitchforks and torches, you’ll eventually face off against elite mercenaries and holy priests who are skilled in taking out the undead. But in true roguelike fashion, death is but a moment of learning, and you’ll need to pick yourself up and try again to conquer the mortal realm.
