For good reason too. You can barre across all six strings at those frets and you’ll have some very important chords: The 1 chord (open) the 4 chord (5th fret) and the 5 chord (7th fret). But as you advance a little, you’ll want to start using other tones. In this lesson, we’ll not only cover a flashy lick that you’ve gotta know, but we’ll cover a 12 bar blues in Open G that uses the all-important flat 7th interval on the 4 and 5 chords.
