Pagani released the Huayra Codalunga, which translates to Long Tail, at least year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed where I was lucky to ride shotgun in the passenger seat of this very car on the famous hillclimb. It’s limited to only 5 customer cars, built at client request by the new Grandi Complicazioni division to throw back to the sports prototypes of the 60s and 70s. Visually elegant and uncluttered, the Codalunga provides a paradox between the beauty and smartness of design, with the brutal powerplant that’s producing 840 horsepower thanks to the AMG twin turbo V12. After a walkaround tour outside the Pagani museum and factory, it’s time to head onto the road, joined by Simone, where m
