Live Painting Session: Glazing Demo in Oil Paint

Starting off with a value study, I’m going to apply glazes in the shadows for depth and paint opaquely into the lights to create the form. I’m aiming for mystery, depth and dreamy softness - all with a single pumpkin. Let’s see how much expression I can add to such a simple subject!
