16,500 RPM - Reuse 12V Super High Speed DC Motor from DEAD CD-ROM | Brushless BLDC Motors

In this video I am going to salvage high speed brushless DC motor 12 volt from an old CD ROM drive. This motor is 20 years old and runs at a very high RPM of 16500 at an input of 12 volts DC. This BLDC motor has large number of poles and has a very small Core. Also, the motor speed is so high that it can actually fly like a toy helicopter. I have also elongated the shaft for making it more useful.
