Thirteen of Gibson’s saves came during Islanders power plays. Josh Manson and Ryan Getzlaf each had two assists, and Patrick Eaves scored a goal in his season debut for Anaheim (2-1-1). Brock Nelson scored two goals, and Josh Ho-Sang had two assists for the Islanders (1-2-1).
