I finally found out why my goldfish gill covers are folded

Lucky is the result of crossbreeding of goldfish Ryukin and Oranda. Actually I accidentally found him when I wanted to change the water which I usually do every week. At first I was hesitant to raise him, because from previous experience the baby fish from Clowny and Ryukin crosses are very vulnerable and die easily, I also don’t know why (later I realized after seeing Lucky’s development to adulthood). So at first Lucky’s development was very good, physically I would say he was perfect, there were no diseases or unusual body shapes like what happened to his siblings. In fact, he looked very agile when he met his siblings. But body deformities due to Ryukin and Browny’s crosses were seen when he started to turn 1 year old, initially from the folded fin cover due to the impact of the accumulated pectoral fins then his mouth which seemed to begin to be covered by his outer skin (this is what happened to his brother which caused them difficulty eat food). So far Lucky’s condition is still healthy and I hope it will always be :), he is still happy to eat and his movements are still active.
