GERMAN LAST MAJOR ASSAULT - EASTERN FRONT - KURSK FILM

Inspired by Operation Citadel, today’s cinematic storytelling comes from the Eastern Front in 1943 when the German’s last major assault on the eastern front took place. This is Kursk, which became the largest tank battle in history. Germany’s last major offensive started from Orel and Belgorod fronts, near Kharkiv in Ukraine. Armoured spearhead with Tiger tanks, Panthers, and Ferdinand tanks tried to break through Soviet defensive lines, who previously in preparation dug hundreds of miles of trenches and other fortifications. Some epic action happened also in Prokhorovka, where the Soviet T-34s made an all-out counter-assault. Shout-out to Anatoly Dyatlov, for collaboration in designing this exclusive map.
