European Hornet slaughter of a hoverfly!

A European Hornet worker have caught a hoverfly and is geting ready for slaughter. It will cut off the abdomen(behind), the wings, legs and head with it´s powerful jaws, before returning home to the nest to feed the young with the proteinrich thorax(middle body) of the flie.
