Sets & User Programs Explained, Roland & Bugari V-Accordions, Richard Noel

The distinction between sets and user programs is one of the most confusing aspects of playing the Roland and Bugari V-Accordions. In this video I first review the concept of a set, with examples of how you can select different accordion, orchestra, and organ sounds. I then discuss what a user program is in relation to a set. I demonstrate each with a Roland FR-4x v-accordion, but the concepts will be similar for the 1x, 3x, 4x, 8x, and Bugari Evo.
