Toy Museum (1960)

M/S of Yootha Rose, curator of The Toy Museum at Rottingdean, East Sussex, standing at display shelves containing many figures and toys; she takes a small Mrs Mopp figure from a shelf, winds it up and puts it on the table; C/U of the figure moving around and mopping the floor as she goes. C/U of YR. C/U as YR winds up a black Afro-American figure from around 1910 which starts to dance. C/U of a figure of a man on a bicycle; tilt down to show he is on a penny-farthing. C/U of a Victorian game; a small billiards table with a figure of a man poised to play; YR winds it up and we see it in action as some tiny balls move up a small conveyor belt and into position so the man can shoot them into little holes at the far end of the table - brilliant! High angle extreme C/U of this action. M/S as YR walks to the display shelves, takes off a toy shaped like a ping-pong bat and starts to move it in a circular motion; C/U as we see it holds four feeding chickens that peck with the motion; this toy is from Swede
