Friday Night Showdown Vol. 10 Winner PeaKock thoroughly impressed the judges with his song “Dream Chaser“ PeaKock is a rapper from Belgium. Born in ’87 into a tumultuous family. At the age of 12 he discovered the world of Hip-Hop, and became immediately addicted. This was actually how he started to write his own raps, studying the English language plus the style and deliveries of many other artists. His first stage name was The Pill or Krystal Pill and he’s been part of a few rap collectives. Years later it was time to take things more serious, and to make it more personal. That’s when the name PeaKock came into existence. Peacock for his last name, “De Pauw“, which is Dutch for “the peacock“. And the K in the middle stands for Kevin. He went under this name with the Belgian label R&O records for some time but eventually decided to go fully independent.
