To celebrate 60 years of iconic color with McLaren Racing, can Lando Norris color match Papaya?

To celebrate 60 years’ of @McLarenRacing we asked @LandoNorris to pick his favourite heritage racing car from the McLaren collection, and then we challenged him create the perfect color match using our Sikkens products and digital color tools – Automatchic and MIXIT. Once a papaya fan, always a papaya fan, with Lando choosing the iconic M8D from 1970, previously raced by Denny Hulme in the Can-Am series. It was one of the first McLaren Racing cars to feature the papaya color. To help him prepare for the spraybooth, Lando received a quick training session with Mick Finch, UK&I Technical Manager, on how to take a color measurement and synchronize it with MIXIT on his mobile device.
