The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Hey Joe (Drum Cover)
Drum cover of Hey Joe by The Jimi Hendrix Experience from the Are You Experienced? album of 1966 and was their debut single.
Used a chart from the Hal Leonard Jimi Hendrix Experience Smash Hits Drum Play-Along text to make sure I got Mitch’s fills right, (about 28 fills consisting of 16th note sextuplets & 32nd notes), well as close as could be. This was a tune that would have been easier to play on an acoustic set, had to work hard to get those fills out and didn’t get all those nuances.
