KATA KATATEDORI is when the attacker grabs both your shoulder and your wrist. It is not a common attack form in aikido, but it should be tried out and practiced now and then. Here are some basic aikido techniques against kata katatedori. Most aikido techniques can be done on either the shoulder grip (katadori) or the wrist grip (katatedori), some can be done on both.
