MOZART CONCERTO for VIOLIN and PIANO in D - finished by WILBY

Pianist Frank Braley and violinist Vladyslava Luchenko, Mozart’s Concerto for Violin and Piano in D major was to premiere in Mannheim with violinist Ignaz Fränzl (1736-1811), but by November 1778, Mozart shelved his project and concentrated on other tasks. It wasn’t until 1985 and Philip Wilby’s study that this score finally saw the light of day and he has done a most fantastic, reconstruction of this work; arguably the finest of any Mozart unfinished work, musical or choral for that matter.
