False History in the Culture War

Heya guys. Sorry for no video last week. Make sure you check out the video contest website and vote. This week I wanted to talk about history. People’s view of history seems, for the most part, totally self-serving. We are truly a flawed animal. But that’s the way it is. I’ve noticed in conversations online, as as well as in the culture war hype that history is becoming a more common topic and more commonly argued about point. And I think that will increase. So I wanted you to think about how we talk about history and how people think about it. If you’re going to be in a situation where you’re going to try to redpill your family, or especially if you think you’re going to engage in any public debate -- think very carefully on what sort of historical beliefs you might be challenged with. The better you understand the people you’re talking to, the better you’ll be able to handle otherwise tough situations.
