Full title reads: “On Board S.S. ’Empress of Britain’. ’Good Luck Go With You!’ Britain’s Olympic Team - ’one happy family’ - captained by Lord Burghley, leave for Los Angeles.“ Shot of members of the British Olympic team lined up on board ship. Someone is speaking. He comments on how proud they are to be representing Britain in the 10th Olympiad in Los Angeles. He notes that they have been held back by the country’s financial problems. The camera final moves across to show the speaker, Sir Harold Varden (sp?) . He turns to Lord Burghley - ’you’re very quick off the mark’. Cutaway to a group of women looking on from elsewhere on the deck. Lord Burghley talks as the camera tilts back down to the team. Lord Burghley says how much they are all looking forward to their visit to the States.
