Humanoid - Orbital/Feeling (1988) I recorded this off radio in 1988 and then tried to identify it for years without success. I recently discovered it was a Humanoid track which was recorded live, for a John Peel radio session, but never released. I contacted Brian Dougans from FSOL (Humanoid) and he confirmed this and explained it was due for release on a special edition compilation (out now). The pics are graffiti art work from the Birmingham area in 1988, exactly the stuff I used to admire, with my Sony Walkman playing Detroit techno and acid house. From a chat with Brian Dougans: “..takes me right back to those heady days - lush - i was in Manchester in 88 - it really kicked off long live the spirit of 88 !!“ p.s. anyone wants a shout out re the artists let me know.
