Alec Baldwin is a big fan of Twitter, and the prestige associated with his precious blue check mark. But now Elon Musk is proposing to open up the blue check to anyone willing to pony up $8 a month, which would undermine entirely the whole reason for having an “I’m better than you” blue check.
