Aretha Franklin - Respect In COLOR! And STEREO! 1967

I’ve been searching for years for the color version of this vid of Aretha Franklin belting out her signature tune Respect on YouTube. All I could find is a lame black and white version with mono audio (what, are we still cavemen?!!) and a 50 second snippet of the color version. I just KNEW I had seen the whole color vid, but where??? So I was reviewing an SD card recently that had my converted DVD recordings on it and I found a PBS show called ‘60’s Girl Grooves’ hosted by Mary Wilson of The Supremes. And guess who popped ’s right, it was ‘Retha! In COLOR, yay!! Dig those shagadelic pants, baby, whoa! Recorded from the Detroit PBS station in 2014, it’s a ‘pledge drive’ special (that’s where they raise money for the station). Unfortunately the audio was still mono so I put my stereo version on this vid. I also edited out some other tunes from that recording and I’m going to upload this and a Lesley Gore one. I made these vids for myself but I’m going to upload them for everyone to enjoy. Now, the fact that all there is is a 50 second snippet of the color vid on YouTube tells me that this will probably get blocked. And if it is then you can draw only one copyright owners are JERKS. They don’t want to monetize and get ad revenue like a nice person would. They want to keep everyone on Earth from seeing it. WHY?! And in that 50 sec vid you can hear that Aretha is apparently actually singing there on the street! I want to hear the actual audio with that vid. How about it, copyright holders? Are you cool? Or are you a jerk? Release it! Nobody likes a jerk, man. My Wiki research reveals that Respect was recorded on February 14, 1967 there in New York where this vid was filmed, also in ‘67. Aretha is backed up by the Swampers, that’s right, the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section mentioned by Skynyrd in ‘Sweet Home Alabama’. She’s also got her sisters Erma and Carolyn providing backing vocals, “sock it to me”! Aretha herself is pounding the piano in this track, cool! Aretha Franklin was the first woman inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame and you hear why in this tune. Sure, she’s the Queen Of Soul with masterpieces like A Natural Woman, but as you can hear in this vid…’Retha rocks!!! 🤘😫 YEEAAGGHHH!!!
